Matt graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Advertising. An avid golfer since his youth, he competed in the WIAA and WJGA State Championships multiple times and was named the 2011 AAA Seamount League Player of the Year. Matt previously served as an assistant golf professional at Meridian Valley Country Club.
